Hi son, last day of this year, wish it was all over and done with. It is just a day like any other to us and no one understands why we do not want to go to the pub and join in all the nonsense, they think we should be able to go out and celebrate with them, still, do not want any of them to feel like we do so it is not as if you could wish they were in our shoes for a while. Anyway hope you are all well I think your dad is coming down with something, surprise, surprise, he is always ill at this time of year it is usually christmas though and not new year. I have got the steakpie and the dinner is all organised but it is not the same anymore, even with the baby, it is not the same. You are still missing no matter who else comes along, she definately helps though, she is just gorgeous as you will knkow and she seems to recognise your pictures if she is tired and getting crabby if you lie her on your knee at the coffee table she calms down and just lies and looks at your picture. Hope she can tell us about you when she gets older she will certainly be encouraged to tell us things she sees and hears.
